The quest for the perfect tire dressing.

Eimann Fabrik Black Sapphire Tire Gel has just one problem. One coating gives the dark, rich look but I always feel your wasting too much dressing in the applicator. Invariably you squeeze too much product on the applicator and end up with black, greasy fingers! You also have to wipe Black Sapphire on the tires, move the vehicle to expose the "flat spot", (being careful not to get tire dressing on the steering wheel) then go back and even out the shine. If only you could apply Black Sapphire with a trigger sprayer....
Welcome Eimann Fabrik Ultra Black Tire Dressing. This dressing utilizes the same, long-lasting, polymers as Black Sapphire Tire Gel but in an easy-to-apply, spray formula. Ultra Black is in the oil-based family for maximum penetration but unlike other dressings, does not contain ANY mineral spirits. It is VOC compliant in all 50 states.
While you can spray Ultra Black and walk away, the thicker coating produced by the trigger spray can result in sling off at highway speeds. I prefer to spray all four tires (I use a homemade, cardboard circle to protect the wheels from overspray), move the vehicle a few feet to expose the "flat spot" then wipe the tires with a DRY Tire Applicator. This removes excess dressing on the tire's sidewalls and redistributes it over the flat spot. Nice and neat. The applicator never becomes saturated with product so your fingers stay clean and dry.
The right look.
Ultra Black Tire Dressing creates a dark, deep and wet look that compliments my cars shine and sets it apart. This is not the "plastic looking" shine of petroleum-based dressings nor is it the matte finish of water-based dressings. For me, it's just the right look.
