Paint contamination can be felt as a "rough or gritty" texture on the paint's surface and can lead to tiny rust spots. This contamination can not be removed by washing, waxing and/or polishing. Our BLACKFIRE PolyClay II Kit contains everything you need to QUICKLY and SAFELY remove surface contamination and make gritty, rough and bumpy paint smooth as glass. The latest evolution in clay technology, these totally non-abrasive bars remove rail dust, air blown brake dust particles, industrial fallout and over spray by "pulling" it off the surface. Clay bars will not scratch your car's paint or clear coat finish.

How smooth is your car's finish?

Try this simple test. After washing and drying your vehicle, put your hand inside a plastic sandwich bag and lightly run your fingertips over the paint's surface. It should be as smooth as glass. If your car's surface has a rough, gritty or pebble-like texture, it indicates the presence of paint contamination. This contamination should be removed as soon as possible to prevent tiny rust spots from forming.

PolyClay II is the latest evolution in clay technology. These bars of entirely man-made polymers have a number of advantages over traditional clay bars:

- PolyClay doesn’t dry out with age or decompose with repeated applications.
- One, non-abrasive grade works on all paint finishes with or without clear coats.
- PolyClay has a unique elastic property that makes it easier to fold, stretch and apply.
- PolyClay leaves almost no residue on the surface making clean-up fast and easy.

Our kit contains:
- One 8oz. bar of PolyClay
- 16 oz. of Clay Lubricant
- Two (2) Microfiber Power Scrubber Cloths
- instructions.

BLACKFIRE Clay Lubricant creates a microscopic barrier between the paint and the clay cleaning material. The high lubricity formula prevents loosened contamination from scratching delicate clear coat finishes yet it will not break down or degrade the integrity of the clay.
After each area is cleaned, wipe off any remaining residues with our Microfiber cleaning cloth.

Caution:

Use only as directed and with an approved lubricant such as Blackfire Clay Lubricant to reduce friction between the PolyClay and the vehicle's surface. Reciprocate or glide PolyClay along the lubricated surface until finish is smooth and contaminants are removed. When used as directed in the conventional method of polishing, contaminants can be removed from the surface without causing swirls.

Don't forget your Windshield!

Contamination on your windshield can cause wiper blade chatter and poor blade performance. Replacing the blade will not help. Using a clay on the windshield dramatically improves wiper blade performance while reducing skipping and chattering.
