Menzerna Final Finish PO85RD

$CAD 42.99

Quantity :

32oz

Menzerna Final Finish PO85RD belongs in the same ""Finishing Polish" category as Menzerna PO106FF and PO106FA. Largely overshadowed by it's two more popular siblings, Final Finish PO85RD is used at the OEM level by some automakers and enjoys an almost cult following among high-end detailers here in the U.S. Some of these perfectionist detailers believe that Final Polish P085RD brings out the paint's true color range, depth and clarity better than any other polish.

Designed to remove up to 2500 grit sanding marks, microscopic blemishes and light marring in fresh paint, Final Finish PO85RD leaves behind a burnished surface that is extremely jeweled and unbelievably glossy. PO85RD's polishing action is so fine that even extremely scratch sensitive paints such as the Infiniti G35/G37 series of cars are brought to an absolute level of perfection. Menzerna Final Finish works amazingly well by a variety of applications. Very good results can be achieved by hand and excellent to perfect finishes can be obtained using random orbital, dual-action and rotary machine polishers.

Application Instructions

By Hand: Use Menzerna Final Finish by hand to clean the paint of soiling previous to applying your favorite wax or sealant. The ultra refined abrasives (the most uniform in the world) lightly jewel the surface increasing gloss with out silicones, oils, or fillers. Apply a small bead of polish across the white side of foam polishing pad such as our BLACKFIRE Ultimate Hand Applicator. Spread the polish evenly over the area to be polished using a light circular motion. Work in areas of about 2 sq. ft. Using a firm pressure, work the polish back and forth in straight lines until the film thins. Wipe away residue with a Microfiber cloth.

By Random Orbital or Dual-Action Polisher: On most paints I use a Lake Country, CCS, Gray Finessing Pad although on harder, scratch-resistant finishes, I usually select a Lake Country, CCS, White Polishing Pad. Prime the pad with a light mist of pad lubricant or filtered water before initial application. Apply a small amount of polish to the pad and spread over the working area at a low speed (2-3). Increase pressure and speed (5-6) working the polish in an up-and-down and back-and-forth motion using a slow arm speed. When the polish begins to clear, reduce pressure and continue working at the same speed. It may take several minutes for the polish to fully breakdown. It is absolutely important for this to occur to maximize the finish. Wipe the residue away using a Microfiber cloth.

By Rotary Polisher: Mist a 7.5 inch or 8.5 inch, Lake Country, Gray Finessing Pad with pad lubricant or a light spray of distilled water to prime the pad. Draw a small bead of polish (use less Menzerna PO85rd Final Finish then other polishes) on the paint or across the face of the pad. Spread polish at a low RPM then increase speed and pressure slightly. I like to work Final Finish into the paint for about 30 seconds using overlapping passes and just enough pressure to compress the pad at about 1500rpm. This ensures that the abrasives (light as they are) are breaking down. Then reduce pressure for a couple of passes and back the RPM down to around 1000. Now make several more passes with no pressure and remove residue with a Microfiber cloth.
